AI AND THE BASES OF DESCRIPTIVE GEOMETRY

Abstract

The authors, specialists in engineering graphics, tested the AI reactions regarding the basics of Descriptive Geometry. Because Descriptive Geometry is the mathematical foundation for any engineering graphics, they assumed that how AI would react to questions in this area could affect any challenges arising from engineering graphics. They decided to use three of the most common and free applications to accomplish the tests, namely: Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and OpenAI ChatGPT. The researchers present the questions used for tests and the conclusions that they have come to.
