ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION FOR THE INTERROGATION OF VULNERABLE PERSONS BASED ON LEGAL PROFESSIONALS’ PERSONALITY PROFILES

This paper proposes an interdisciplinary approach to the design of interrogation environments by correlating the personality profiles of legal professionals with an architectural solution aimed at protecting vulnerable persons. Based on an empirical analysis conducted using the Big Five model, dominant personality traits of legal professionals are identified, and the manner in which these may indirectly influence the stress levels of emotionally vulnerable persons during interrogation procedures is examined. The current organisation of interrogation environments, characterised by direct visibility, may contribute to elevated stress among emotionally vulnerable persons. In response, an adaptive architectural solution is proposed, incorporating a smart visual exposure regulation system designed to reduce emotional overstimulation and enhance procedural balance.
