Abstract

This paper is about logo design, namely a guidebook to draw a graphic representation for a company, an event, a product. There are principles of design and color management applied for logos to be representative for a desired purpose. In our research study we have seen what symbols, signs or colours have been used to make them part of a logo, as an identity element for different domains of activities. We have studied the typology of logos, and we have found few important characteristics for each type. In our research study we have found also similar symbols and very similar graphic representation. A section of our paper is about redesigning logos and the challenge to do this work.
